Queen of Wands
The Artwork
A queen emerges from the subconscious, holding fruit close, open and vulnerable to what's new.
What This Card Means
Emerging from the subconscious, clutching fruit close to her body — vulnerable, always open, bringing new ideas to life through surrender.
The Archetype
She's holding something not yet ripe and staying open anyway, which is harder than holding something finished. Jung's anima at the threshold looks exactly like this — bringing the unconscious's offering across, but only once there's genuine room made to receive it. William Morris waited on his own half-formed ideas the same patient way, letting them ripen in private before ever showing them to the workshop. Make room for one new idea today, even unfinished.
A Practice For Today
Hold space for one new, unfinished idea instead of rushing it to completion.
