The Fox's Wedding

Privacy

Effective August 3, 2026

The Fox's Wedding is designed as a private reflective experience. It does not require an account and does not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.

Readings and card exploration

Card selections and interpretations are displayed for the visitor and are not saved to a server. The website and app do not store the cards in a reading, the subject of a reading, or notes about the visitor.

Authored content updates

The iPhone app may download and privately cache the creators' public card-text archive so corrections and interpretation refinements can appear without an App Store update. The request does not include a reading, card selection, question, chat, account identifier, or advertising identifier. The app verifies the archive before using it and otherwise continues with its last valid or bundled copy.

Optional reflective chat and OpenAI

Chat is optional. When a visitor chooses to use it, the question, the cards in the current reading, and the recent conversation needed to answer the question are transmitted through thefoxsweddingtarot.com to OpenAI solely to generate the requested response. The website and app do not write questions, answers, or conversations to a file or database.

The iPhone app asks for explicit permission before sending the first chat question. Permission can be withdrawn inside the app under About → Privacy. Visitors should avoid including names or other personal information they do not wish to transmit.

OpenAI processes the request as an API service provider. OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default, but may retain them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring under its API data-use terms. This is separate from The Fox's Wedding, which does not save chat questions or answers.

Aggregate statistics

The service keeps aggregate counts such as visits and the number and type of readings performed. These statistics do not contain card selections, questions, chats, names, email addresses, IP addresses, user-agent strings, precise location, advertising identifiers, or referrer URLs. The iPhone app may send only the deck and reading type when a reading is performed.

Retention and deletion

Because The Fox's Wedding does not create user accounts or store individual readings and chats, it has no personal reading history to retrieve or delete. Aggregate totals cannot be traced back to an individual. Removing the app deletes its local preferences, cached public card text, and the saved chat-consent choice.

Purpose and safety

The Fox's Wedding is an artistic and reflective tool. It does not predict the future and does not replace medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
