The card
The Two of Swords is flanked by a burst of poppies. The eight flowers represent the flowering of the reader’s mind and all the potential that lies therein. It is the promise of daydreams come to life and the ability to bring them forth into the world. The only question being, will they be nurtured with care? Pruned and prepared each one in its own time? Or will they be pulled from the ground like weeds and consumed in choric mania—seduced by the dream, but punished by the heat of the morning sun?
