Le Cavalier
The Quatrain
Voici le cavalier, Il vient de l'étranger, Bonne nouvelle t'apporte, Ouvre-lui ta porte.
The rider arrives from elsewhere, carrying welcome news. Open the door and receive it.
The Archetype
News from outside the known world, arriving with instructions to simply open the door. Jung's herald figures work exactly this way — not the change itself, but the announcement that change is already on its way toward you, whether you've prepared for it or not.
A Practice For Today
Stay open today to news or an idea arriving from somewhere you didn't expect it, rather than filtering it out.
