Le Jardin
The Quatrain
Dans ce beau jardin S'enfuit le chagrin. Il reste la gaîté, La joie et la félicité.
The garden is a place where sorrow loosens its hold and shared delight can return.
The Archetype
A place where sorrow loosens its hold and shared delight returns. Jung's own language for individuation often reached for cultivation rather than conquest — not a battle won once, but ground that has to be tended for the joy in it to keep growing back.
A Practice For Today
Spend a little time today tending something — a relationship, a space, a habit — purely for the pleasure it gives back.
